Meet Our Newest Member!


We are pleased to welcome Mindi Mackey, APRN-CNP  to OKC Endo! She has joined us as a provider of general practice adult medicine. Mindi has over ten years of experience in nursing and primary care. She has the capability to care for a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Additionally, she also focuses on preventative health care, including women's health and nutritional counseling for weight management.   



About Our Physicians

Dr. Kipgen completed a Fellowship in Diabetes, Metabolism and Endocrinology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1995.

 

She received her Doctor of Medicine with Special Distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.  In 1987 Dr. Kipgen received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with Distinction from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.  Dr. Kipgen graduated in Pre-Pharmacy studies from Oklahoma State University.  Since 1997 Dr. Kipgen has been in private practice in Oklahoma City.

 

Dr. Kipgen has also been a Clinical Investigator Growth Hormone Clinical Studies for Eli Lilly and Genentech, a member of the Speaker's Bureau for GSK, Sanofi-Aventis and Pfizer, a consultant for Cenegenics Medical Institute and wrote training manuals for hypothyroidism and hypogonadism for Cenegenics' physicians.  Dr. Kipgen is a member of the AMMG certification committee and a member of the Oklahoma County Medical Association Board of Directors.  Dr. Kipgen is accredited with the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
 

Dr. Hummer specializes in the treatment of diabetes and endocrinology.  Dr. Hummer completed a Fellowship in Diabetes, Metabolism and Endocrinology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2014.   She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2012.  She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2009.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  Dr. Hummer is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association.  Dr. Hummer is accredited with the American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
